Music for POMS is studio recordings of the music I play live to accompany the choreography of Sarah Honer & the art of Amanda Barr. The show is called POMS and we created it for Moogfest 2016. We are performing the show again August 28th at the Artscenter in Carrboro. The dancers are Ginger Wagg, Sarah Wilson & Stella Cook. Skylar Gudasz and John Bowman also appear.

I originally improvised the music live on a collection of synthesizers and drum machines set up in my studio, recorded demos on my phone and sent them to Sarah and Amanda. Together we narrowed down the program and then I "learned" the songs again so that I could play them consistently live for the dancers. Brian Paulson helps in the show as well & makes sure the machines are in the right place before each song. After our Moogfest performance I recorded these studio versions.

A cassette of this music will be available at the show and possibly here soon as well...
